Fifth Wheel Trailer to Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for Truck With Custom Flat Bed

Question:

I have a 07 Chevrolet 3500 with air bags, custom welding bed, and also a hide away goose neck ball. The bed is also pre drilled and made to add a 5th wheel hitch on it. I was hoping to find a safe and durable way to use the goose neck ball, if not then I will do what is safest. I am planning to purchase a 2015 Sanibel 5th wheel overall length 42.2 feet and dry weight is 13,167 hitch weight is 2,254.

If you have a gooseneck hitch installed on your 2007 Chevy 3500 with a custom bed the easiest way for you to tow a fifth wheel trailer would be to use the # CAB-C5G that you referenced to adapt the hitch. We don't have any fifth wheel rail options for your truck due to it's custom bed so this would be your best option.
