Will Dutton-Lainson Ball Adapter Plate, # DL24053, fit a 4000 Trakker Winch

Question:

I just purchased a 4000# trakker winch. I have a mount plate. Do you know if your ball hitch plate will fit on the plate on my kc4000 trakker winch? Thanks

On the Dutton-Lainson Ball Adapter Plate, # DL24053, it is designed for the Strongarm SA Series electric winches that have a 3 hole mount. I am sending you a link that shows the base hole pattern with the base hole diameters, so you might be able to check if it will matchup to your winch. If the holes line up to your winch it should work. I could not find any information on the KC4000 Trakker winch that you have.

If the dimensions you have do not matchup to the adapter plate holes, another option you might look at is a Bulldog Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate with Handles # BDW20011, which requires a front or rear 2 inch receiver hitch, but it does have a universal design and fits many major winch models. It has 2 sets of four mounting holes, 10 inches x 4-1/2 inches on center and 6-1/2 inches x 4-1/2 inches on center.
