How Many Tie-Down Straps Are Needed To Secure 2 Kayaks With The Thule The Stacker Kayak Carrier
Question:
I have a 2015 Subaru Outback...this carrier was recommended by your experts. This is a 2 kayak carrier but comes with one set on straps? Another set #SR0704 must be purchased to secure a second kayak to the carrier? Also recommended is a bow and stern strap....so that requires 2 more sets of SR0704? A total of 3 #SR0704 must be orders to secure 2 kayaks ? Is this correct? Thanks

The # TH830 kayak carrier has a total of 4 straps included. Two are designed to be used to secure the kayaks to the carrier, and bow/stern tie-downs are also included.
For additional tie-downs I recommend part # 753-2030-02.
