Troubleshooting Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear # LG-1 with Only Lead Jack Working
Question:
My power lift switch was maxed up and I needed to raise front approx 1-2, so manually used rod/wrench to crank clockwise, approx. 5/6 turns. Then the follow jack fell to my lock pin point! Wow! Used a floor jack to get by and connect truck to 5th wheel to get home. Once on truck ,jack would retract only? When home tried extend power switch, only lead jack worked, Dont know what I need?

Sounds like your land gear has a faulty switch. For the Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear, part # LG-1, the correct switch would be part # LG-145236. This would wire in pretty easily and would be self-explanatory once you got into the install.
If you can operate the jack manually but not with the switch then the problem is most likely the switch.
