Pollak 7-Way to 4-Way Adapter Recommendation for a 2006 Hummer H3
Question:
I have a 2006 H3 Hummer with a Pollak 7 way plug-in. It appears to be factory installed. I bought a 7way to 4-way adapternot Pollak. It works but I have to wedge something underneath to keep the adapter plug tight. The adapter is not a Pollak. Do I need to purchase a Pollack adapter to get it to fit tight? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Most 7-way to 4-way adapters can be used in virtually any 7-way. Your Pollak 7-way should not require you to only use a Pollak adapter, but if your current one isn't working properly your best option at this point would be to go with the Pollak adapter part # PK12716.
