On any vehicle it is possible for a trunk mounted bike carrier to scratch or mar the paint. you have to make sure that the rack and vehicle are clean where they make contact with each other to minimize this possibility. Adding a coat of wax to the vehicle in this area offers even more protection.
I have used a trunk mount carrier on 2 different vehicles and have never had a problem. In addition to keeping the area and carrier clean you will also need to remove the carrier when not in use. The less time making contact with the vehicle the less chance there is for the paint to get scratched or marred.
With that said I have included a link to all of the trunk mount carriers listed as a fit for your 2014 Toyota Camry.
