Heated Towing Mirrors for a 2001 Chevy Silverado

Question:

Have 2001 Silverado which has electric and heated mirrors. These mirrors, KS61199-00F stated they can replace factory mirrors but nothing about if they are heated. Additional question, how are are they to install?

We do have replacement towing mirrors for your 2001 Chevy Silverado but the K-Source mirrors # KS61199-00F do not have a heat feature and will only fit 2002-2008 Ford Vans. For your Silverado, the replacement mirrors we currently carry do not have the electric or heat feature. If you are okay with missing those features, I recommend the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors - Manual - Black – Pair # KS62073-74G.

Installing new side mirrors is not all that difficult but each vehicle seems to have a different procedure. What I always do is look up something like how to replace side mirrors on a 2001 Chevy Silverado. There will inevitably be a video showing the process. Or, if you know how the old mirrors come off you would just reverse the process to install the new mirrors.

If you wish to retain your current mirrors and their features, then I recommend the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors # KS3990 or Custom Slip On # CM10800. These options are added to the current mirror housing and give you a manual adjustment mirror to increase your viewing angles. I've attached some videos to assist with features and installation.
