Wiring Needed to Connect Royal Star Motorcycle to Trailer with Separate Brake & Turn Lights
Question:
I am rebuilding a trailer to tow behind my Royal Star Venture Motorcycle. The trailer has separate brake and directional lights and running lights, which I believe means that I need 5 prongs. Do you know what I would need for a harness to go from the bike to the trailer?

Since motorcycles have separate stop, turn and taillights just like your trailer you will not need any type of wiring converter to connect them, just the mating connectors of the appropriate format. If your trailer uses a 5-round-pin connector like # PK11501 that mates with the vehicle side socket # PK11502 that you referenced, then you'll just need to wire the socket on the bike.
Please take a look at the linked article on trailer wiring that shows the various types of connectors.
You'll need to test the bike's wiring with a tester like # PTW2993 to confirm what function is carried on each wire, and then wire the connector so that each of those functions is routed to the correct pins on the trailer. You can use quick-splice connectors like # SWC501915-1.
