Expert Reply:

The Bulldog Square Jack - Drop Leg w/ Non-Spring Return - Sidewind - 12-1/2 inch Lift - 12,000 lbs, item # BD182415, is lowered by using the Sidewind crank, sold separately, item # BD800090.

The spring pin on the innermost leg is pulled to extend the foot down before lifting a trailer to reduce the amount of cranking needed to lift the trailer, and to extend the height that the jack will be able to lift the trailer. There are 5 positions for the spring pin that are 3-1/2 inches apart on center from the lowest position for a total extension of 13-1/2 inches overall.

Dimensions for this jack are as follows.

Bracket height: 28-3/5 inches Retracted, 41-1/10 inches Extended
Drop-leg travel: 13-1/2 inches
Crank Lift: 12-1/2 inch
Outer Tubing width: 4 inches
Center Tubing width: 3-1/2 inches
Inner Tubing width: 3 inches
Handle Shaft: 12 inches overall and 4 inches out each side
Handle Attachment Holes are 2-1/2 inches on Center from the Outer Tube
Foot: 10 inches by 9-3/4 inches
Base Overall Width with Pull Pin is 13-3/4 inches

I spoke to my contact at BullDog and the dimensional drawing is deemed proprietary information and cannot be released.
