Troubleshooting Interior Light # RVILL34 that Works When Tested But Not on Trailer
Question:
I bought some these lights and a couple of them do not work when wired in. They work when I tested them to a battery and the old inca decent still work when re tried those. Confusing I know. I have 13.5 v to the wire end. Thoroughly confused. This is a Shamrock 23 SS

If you tested the # RVILL34 on a 12 volt source confirming that they do work, and your old incandescent bulb lights assemblies still work the only thing I can think of is that maybe you wired the # RVILL34 backwards.
Clearly you have 12 volts present at the wiring, and if an incandescent bulb can be illuminated there then there is no reason the # RVILL34 shouldn't work unless there was an error in the wiring. Make sure the white wire of the light goes to the ground and the black to the 12 volt power circuit.
