Spare Tire Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport
Question:
Two questions. I am looking seriously at the Thule Spare Me 2, code TH963PRO. I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport. 1. I have a full size spare tire-P255/75R17-will this rack fit O.K? 2. From a 5/8/13 review from Dave, he said an adapter bar for a ladys bike was needed. Do I need that? Many thank,

The Thule Spare Me Bike Rack part # TH963PRO would work very well at the rear of your 2014 Jeep Wrangler with a P255/75R17 sized spare tire. Check out the install video I attached that shows this rack being used on a very similar Wrangler as yours.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
If you only plan to carry men's bikes then this wouldn't be needed.
