4 Bike Platform Bike Rack Recommendation that is Priced Economically

Question:

Does this rack come assembled? I am 5ft5 120 pounds little bitty arms- need to load 3 bikes- two are children heavier bikes that are honestly harder to read than my easy grownup road bike. Nee light weight need easy no time to assemble- as it will probably not be assembled correctly by me. This is expensive I cant afford really good biked for them and this. But if I buy expensive bikes for them we cant take them to ride. ??? Suggestions?

The Saris Freedom SuperClamp 4 Bike Platform Rack # SA4026F does not come preassembled, but if you check out the install instructions link attached to this page you will see that it installs very easily. If you take your time with it I assure you it won't be difficult at all for you.

Basically you'll install the shank of the rack in a hitch and then assemble it on a vehicle.

For a much less expensive bike rack that weighs a bit less I would recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE part # HR1400Z. This rack weighs about 9 lbs less than the Saris as a 2-bike configuration. You can add the outer 2-bike part after that's secured.
