Recommended Brake Controller For 2008 Toyota Tundra
Question:
Tekonsha Brake Controller with Adapter - This is the brake controller I am looking at, but I am not sure which one I need. It is for a 2008 Toyota Tundra. I dont have the truck yet, but I will on Monday.

The Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller part # 90195 will be a great brake controller and is one of our most popular because it is easy to install and operate.
If you have a factory 7-way connector on your truck you can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter, part # 3040-P. This plugs into the back of your brake controller and then plug the other end into the built-in harness under the dashboard.
If you have a 4-way connector on your truck, you will need part # 37185. You will need to make sure you have a brake control harness under the left side of the dash. If you do not find one you will also need part # ETBC7 to complete the installation.
