Can a Boat Trailer go From E78-14 Tires to 185/80-13
Question:
i want to lower my boat trailer a bit so i would like to go from e78x14 to maybe 185x13. any problem with that?

The closest trailer tire size to the E78 14 ST tire is a 205/75-14 tire which has an overall diameter of 26.3 inches. The 185/80-13 tire size has an overall diameter of 24.1 inches. So basically you would lower your trailer a little over an inch by doing this.
The biggest thing you will need to do is verify that you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern (see link) and that you would have enough capacity. A wheel like the part # AM3S334 has a capacity of 1,660 lbs at 65 psi per wheel.
