How to Mount Weight Distribution Spring Brackets on Tubular Trailer Frame

Question:

How long are the bolts that attach to the frame of the trailer? My trailer frame is tubular, not open so I will need to: a. drill access holes on the inside of my frame to get a socket or wrench in. b. run the bolt all the way through and have the bolt exposed not he inner side of the frame. Does it really matter?

The trailer frame spring bar lift brackets in the Blue Ox Weight Distribution System # BLU45FR are clamp-on types designed to work with tubular trailer frames. The frame member does NOT have to be open to install the lift brackets.
