Lightweight Platform Bike Rack Recommendation to Clear Spare of a 1999 Honda CRV  

Question:

Hello, I got my 1.25inch installed on my 99 Honda Crv. I measured 10inch from center on pin hole to outside edge of spare tire. I used to have the 2inch Curt with the Yakima hold up 2 but was way to heavy but fit great! I need a recommendation for a light weight platform rack for 1-2 bikes. I was looking at the Swagman Xtc2 and the Prorack 2 bike platform but unsure of the clearance. Any ideas? Thank you.

I believe your best option would be the Saris Freedom 2, # SA4412B as it only weighs 22-1/2 lbs and has 12 inches from the center of the pin hole to the first wheel hoop. The XTC2 # S64670 only has 8 inches so it wouldn't clear.
