Can a Different Anti-Rattle Device and Hitch Lock Fit an Old Yakima Roc 4 Bike Rack

Question:

I have a Yakima Roc 4 and the hitch bolt threads and nut are damaged. I was wondering if the Bighorn 4 bike carrier hitch bolt and nut assembly Y8780022 would work or the Lets Go Aero Hitch Lock # 63232 would do the trick. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

If the weldnut inside the shank of your Yakima bike rack is not present (broke or otherwise has been removed) then you could use anti-rattle lock # 63232 as long as the hole in the shank is 5/8 inches in diameter.

The same goes for the BigHorn replacement # Y8780022. The shank would also have to be hollow and fit only 2 inch trailer hitches for either of these to work.
