Can Ultra-Fab Universal Access Door be Bent to Match Curvature of a Trailer
Question:
I plan to mount this to the front of our enclosed trailer. the front has a curve to it and Im planning to mount it there. Do you think I could carefully bend the frame and door to match the curve? Maybe theres some way to mount a trim kit to adapt the flat frame to my trailer? Your thoughts will be helpful. Thank you.

If you are talking about a slight curve then you probably could bend the access door # UF48-979010 to match the curvature of the trailer. But anything more than a few degrees radius and I would advise against it because the hinge system would not tolerate much movement.
Unless you where to place it so that the door opens up or down instead of to the side. Then the stress would be off the hinge system and it could work. Getting a controlled, even bend though might not be all that easy. You would need some type of system like what is used to bend pipe.
There isn't a trim kit available so if you went that route you would have to fabricate something yourself.
