Minimum Trailer Frame Width the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FHDSTC0101 can Fit
Question:
A previous commenter mentioned that he ran out of thread on the U bolt when mounting to a 1.5inch wide channel. The channel on my A frame is also only 1.5inch wide x 3inch high. Do the U-bolts have enough thread to tighten completely on a 1.5inch wide channel see picture? Thanks.

The minimum width trailer frame the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FHDSTC0101 is designed to fit is 2 inches. The only way you would be able to install this on a 1-1/2 inch wide trailer frame would be to use a 1/2 inch spacer between the brackets that mount on the outside of the trailer frame and the frame itself.
