Front Mount Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500

Question:

I just got a 2015 GMC 3500 SLE DRW Gas pick up. I use the truck with a Truck Camper in the bed. The front hitch is mostly used for carrying a bicycle rack or a spare tire, and sometimes a cargo rack. I wish to put in a front receiver hitch. The Curt looks like it allows only about 6 3/4inch of ground clearance, which seems low. The Draw-Tite requires cutting some fascia and for me requires remounting the front license plate New Jersey, but more importantly it looks as though it would have to mount awfully close to a metal tube carrying liquid to a small radiator. Obviously I do not want to mess with that. Is installing the Draw Tite 65078 a problem because of the fluid tube? Has anyone actually successfully installed the Draw Tite on my vehicle?

Well Draw Tite has installed the front mount hitch, part # 65078, on a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 like yours to know that it would fit properly so they could list it as a confirmed fit. We have sold several of these hitches and haven't had an issue yet with someone not being able to install it.
