Recommended Trunk Mounted Bike Rack for 2014 Buick Enclave

Question:

I am looking for a bike rack to fit my 2014 Buick Enclave. Do they make the racks where I would be able to reach the back from the lift door? I am older and do not want to constantly have to take the rack on and off. Also I would like the tie downs very durable and not made of plastic. Any ideas?

I have just the trunk mounted bike rack for you. Since the 2014 Buick Enclave has a factory spoiler you will want to go with the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Rack # HRF2, for a two-bike rack, or # HRF2-3 for a three-bike rack. These racks have an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # HRBA-PRO. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
