How to Measure a Trailer Spindle to Pick Out a Replacement Hub
Question:
I have a 1967 Stevens m416 1/4 ton trailer that has 5x5.5 hubs - I want to convert to 5x5 hubs to match my Jeep JK tow vehicle. The Govt. Bearings are part number 8762093. It would be great to be able to just replace the hub instead of a new axle - but I am open to both options to get this done. Here is a link to a m416 tech The bearing info is on page 10-1

I wasn't able to pull up the link you sent me, but in order to determine what hubs could fit your trailer spindle you will need to take the hubs off and measure the diameter of the spindle where the bearings and grease seal ride. With that info I can set you up with a replacement hub.
Usually we can determine a replacement by the bearing numbers but yours don't match what we carry.
