Air Bag Helper Springs for a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander

Question:

I have a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander the 6 cylinder. I checked underneath and the rear suspension has separate coils and shocks some models have the shocks inside the coils. So this kit should work for me, right? The installation looks easy enough. Just get the car up, take off the tires and force the deflated bags through a gap in the coils, or is it harder on an outlander? For instance I watched the installation video for a 4-runner and it looked like a lot of work.

Correct, the Firestone Coil-Rite system # F4182 would work inside of the coil springs on your 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander without the shocks in the center of the coil springs.

Installing the bags inside of the coil springs is easy enough and I don't think you will have any trouble with it. Routing the air lines will probably take just as long. I have included a link to the installation instructions so you can see what is involved.
