Yes. That is what a 4 pole connection does. The 4 pole on the trailer connects to the vehicles 4 pole connection and the vehicle provides the same functions as the taillights for the vehicle and trailer. So you will have left and right signals, and brake lights. The last wire (white) is ground.

The wiring for your 2009 Honda Fit is a little different as it has brake lights that are separate from the turn signals. The Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118420, is the correct harness from your Fit. It plugs in line with your vehicle lights and provides a 4 flat trailer connection at the rear of the vehicle.
