Can Yakima Roof Rack Control Tower Locks be Removed if they are Locked
Question:
I lost my keys to the q towers. I bought a brand new set of core and lock keys. Would I be able to take out the lock with no keys with the core keys so I can know the code of the lost keys.

If the locks on your Yakima Q Towers are currently unlocked then you would be able to remove the lock cylinders with the control key and retrieve the lock number which will be on the side of the lock cylinder.
If the towers are currently locked then you would not be able to remove the locks with the control key. You would have to have a locksmith pick the locks. then you could remove the lock cylinders as explained above.
