Do You Carry a Towing Bike Rack with 5 Bike Capacity

Do you sell a 5 bike carrier that will attach to my trailer hitch and allow me to pull my Coleman trailer at the same time?

The highest bike capacity bike racks that are approved for use on motor homes and trailers can carry a maximum of 4 bikes. The Swagman Original Bike Rack, part # S64400, is one example.

When Using a towing bike rack, you will need to ensure that the tongue weight of the trailer and the weight of the rack plus the bikes on it does not exceed the tongue weight capacity of the hitch on your vehicle.

Given that the average bike weighs 30 pounds and most racks weigh around 40 to 50 pounds when fully loaded, you are talking about 200 pounds of tongue weight before connecting the trailer. If your hitch has a 350 pound tongue weight capacity, you will not have much capacity left for the trailer. This is why a 5 bike towing rack is not offered.
