Can Drums and Electric Brakes be Added to a Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System
Question:
If I purchase the ASR3500 S05 with just the plain hubs at first, can I retrofit the brake hubs at a later date? The complete unit with the brake hubs, your code number A35RS545E, is a bit high for my current tight trailer budget, but I probably will eventually want to install the brakes. By the way I am retrofitting a Northern trailer that is the foundation for a version of the Compact 3 that I am constructing. Capacity is currently just over 2K, so is just marginal, too close for Engineers! Thanks! PS: You guys rock. I got all my exterior and interior lights from you, and they are on their way!

Yes, you can add hub and drum assemblies and brakes at a later time using the Timbren Axle-Less suspension system # ASR3500S05. When you are ready for hub/drum assemblies I have included a link to the models that will fit. These are all EZ lube assemblies to match the EZ lube spindles on the Timbren system.
You would need to use 10 x 2-1/4 inch brakes which I have also linked for you.
PS: Thank you for the kind words. All of us here at etrailer think that YOU rock, too!
