What is the Maximum Tongue Weight Capacity of Trailer Valet Jack and Trailer Mover

Question:

need trailer valet...the one I see on your site is 500lb hitch weight capacity. I think my hitch weight is between 600 and 700lbs. do you have higher capacity ones? is the capacity a function of just the axle on the valet or the drive chain? I am on completely flat stone and grass surface

The Trailer Valet, # STC-V211, like you said is rated for 500 pounds tongue weight. It is the overall tongue weight capacity rating of the entire unit and there isn't a way to increase it. You could potentially lower the trailer tongue weight by moving some weight towards the back of the trailer, if at all possible.

A higher-capacity option I have is # TVXL2, rated for 1000 pounds tongue weight. It is currently the highest capacity dolly we have for trailers.
