Roof Vent Cover Recommendation that Allows Vent Cover Lid to be Fully Opened When Needed

Question:

Will this fit over a fansastic fan with the same measurements as a roof vent? Been told on a forest river forum it will not work since the fan cover cant open all the way. And I cannot confirm if the fan will operated if the cover is only partially open, since the trailer is in storage for another month. Thanks

The Camco RV and Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ Detachable Louvered Screen # CAM40431 that you referenced is designed for a 14 inch by 14 inch roof vent to fit under it. When installed the vent cover will only be able to open at about a 45 degree angle. Which under normal circumstances would be just fine.

A better solution for you would be the part # CAM40431. This cover will allow a roof vent to be open at all times without letting water get in.
