Are Fuses Needed When Installing RF Brake Controller On 2015 Honda Pilot With Factory 7-Way
Question:
If I use the Tekonsha RF brake controller on my 2015 Honda Pilot EXL, do I still have to the fuse in the fuse box the same as if I were using a P2 plugged into the socket under the dash? I do have the 7 way plug next to the hitch.

You do not have to pull fuses or install any fuses on your 2015 Honda Pilot to be able to use the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller, part # TK94FR.
You do need 5 wires on your 7-way plug at the back of your Pilot active. You will need the lights functioning on the vehicle connector and also need the 12V power active so that it can supply power to the module attached to the trailer for the # TK94FR.
I have attached a link to an installation video and also to a product review video for this brake controller you can check out.
