Differences Between K Source Custom Towing Mirrors, Recommended Sway Control For '03 Chevy Avalanche
Question:
I have a 2003 Avalanche 1500 I want to pull a 34foot x 9700 lbs. air stream trailer. I have looked at your site and the K-source extendable towing mirrors # KS62075-76GE and 76G. What is the difference of these two products other than cost Also I would like to know more about your air bags or components designed to help minimize the sway issue when pulling a heavy load. I have a very good equalizer hitch. Thanks

The only difference is K Source Custom Towing Mirrors, part # KS62075-76G have LED turn signals and # KS62075-76GE do not. Other than that they are the same product.
Air Helper Springs, like The Firestone Ride-Rite # F4108, will help control sway on rough terrain, but the main purpose of air helper springs is to keep your vehicle level when hauling heavy loads and level off-center loads.
Since you already have a weight distribution system with sway control and feel like you need more I would recommend either our SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway-Control Kit w/OEM Leaf Springs Above the Axle, # SSA8MTKT. These helper leaf springs provide selectable reinforcement to OEM leaf springs and can be installed to provide increased ride height. They are bolt-on and maintenance-free and will automatically deactivate when the suspension is not under load. And they will help to prevent twisting of the OEM springs and help compensate for minor spring fatigue in older vehicles. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.
