Are Hitch Balls Directional on a Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have a quick question regarding a 2 5/16 hitch ball on a weight distribution hitch. Is it ok to mount that ball to where the letters on the ball are facing sideways? I assume yes, but there are notches on the side of the ball facing forward on my setup that I would think are for assistance in tightening it. They are a bit more shallow than the front of the ball and I just wanted to make sure that I am not jeopardizing the weight rating of the ball by setting it up this way. Thanks!
