There are quite a few trunk mount bike racks that fit your 2014 Mazda 3 Hatchback, but I really like the Thule OutWay 2 bike rack # TH910XT. The FitDial system has Quick-Fit levers making it very easy to setup.
The OutWay has an integrated locking cable with a One-Key system lock that will secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to the car, providing you additional peace of mind. The weight capacity is 66 pounds and can carry two bikes. This is the easiest and fastest rack to install because it uses only 2 retractable cables to secure the rack instead of the 6 straps of other carriers.
If you plan on carrying any women's, oversize or some children's bike frames, I highly recommend the Thule bike adapter # TH982XT. It attaches to your seat post and handlebar stem providing you a horizontal bar for the bike rack to grab.
