How to Install Trailer Valet # STC-V211 on Car Hauler Trailer with Weight-Distribution Hitch
Question:
My dual-axle car hauler trailer is equipped with weight-distribution bars that attach to brackets on the trailer tongue frame. Is there a way to use the trailer valet STC-V211 with that type of setup?

Trailer jacks like the popular Trailer Valet # STC-V211 install on the sides of the trailer frame in the same area as the lift brackets for a weight distribution (WD) system - please see the linked photo. Since the WD system cannot be re-positioned (there is only one right way to install it) you will need to find a way to create space for the jack to mount.
If there is simply no room for it, you may need to have a new steel crosspiece welded to the frame to create a mounting point for the Valet's installation brackets. This piece will have to allow enough room for the jack to rotate for steering, cranking of the handle and for it to swing up out of the way for travel. If the car hauler has an enclosed V-nose there may simply not be space.
In that case you may need to use an A-frame jack such as one of those shown on the link I've included for you.
