Will a resonator tip help with the interior drone at 1600-1800 RPM but still allow a good, throaty V-8 sound outside?

The MagnaFlow 4-Inch Resonator Exhaust Tip # MF35212 is designed primarily to enhance the exterior appearance of the exhaust. It is not designed to reduce the vehicle interior noise level, which will mostly be related to the type of exhaust installed - a quieter chambered type or a more throaty straight-through type. You might have a loose clamp or a leak somewhere in the system, but a local shop should be easily able to inspect the system and advise if anything is wrong with the installation.
