I would like to know the clearance to the inside mounting surface. I need to make sure the tire will clear the trailers frame. Thanks,

The backspacing for the rim of Loadstar ST225/75D15 Bias Trailer Tire with 15" White Wheel # AM3S870 is 3-1/2 inches. I determined this by taking the wheel width (6 inches) adding 1 inch for both wheel lips (7) and then dividing that by 2 to give the backspacing of 3-1/2 inches.

This is what the formula would look like.

(6+1)/2=3.5
