The Extra Large Cargo Bag, # 988501, which you referenced, measures 59 inches long by 24 inches wide, so it will work great on a 24 X 60 cargo carrier like the etrailer Cargo Carrier, # e98874, which you referenced. Part # 988501 is a soft flexible bag and will fit most cargo carriers. The bag holds 20 cu ft of gear on your hitch mounted cargo carrier and its rainproof design offers protection from the weather.
The etrailer Cargo Carrier is compatible with a 2" trailer hitch like the Curt trailer hitch # 13354, which you already have.
If the cargo blocks the taillights on your Acura MDX then light kit # e98943-44LED must be installed on this hitch-mounted carrier.
