Options for Raising the Tongue Height on a Boat Trailer on a Slanted Driveway to Drain Water

Question:

Is there a product out there that exists that I can use to temporarily prop up my boat trailer so I can drain the hull and footwells of my jet skis while Im cleaning them? Ive been propping them up on a CMU block with the jack extended all the way out, but that isnt the safest way for sure. I was thinking somebody must have come up with something. Thanks

Your best option would be to either replace your trailer jack or add a second jack that comes with a drop leg. We had a trailer here at our facility that was in a similar situation and this method worked pretty well. We kept the original sidewind swivel jack with the wheel caster on the trailer and added the Pro Series Square Jack # PS1400800383. This jack is welded to the trailer tongue and it can be welded at any part of the outer tube.

You can also open the drains after you pull up far enough on the boat ramp that it is out of the water so that it will drain from the angle of the ramp as well.
