Brake Controller Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2007 Model Year GM Trucks

Question:

The GM wiring harness for the tekonska lists fits 2005-7 classic style does it fit the 2007 new body style as well ?

Chevy produced two body styles in model year 2007, the classic and the new body style. If you have the classic model, you would want wiring adapter, part # 3015-P. But if you have the New Body Style, the Tekonsha brake controller would wire directly into the tow package wiring located under the dash above the emergency brake pedal with no adapter needed.
