Troubleshooting P3 Brake Controller that Locks Up Brakes at Parking Lot Speeds by Touching Brake
Question:
My P3 break controller works great in most cases, however when driving slowly around the camp grounds, just touching the truck breaks locks up the trailer brakes. I have the boost at B1, should I take the boost off when going slow? I am pulling a 20foot Jayco travel trailer with my 2012 Nissan Frontier.

We had another customer with a similar problem say that his P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 would lock up the trailer brake while at campground speeds and he was able to prevent that problem by turning the boost of the controller down to zero.
You might also double check to make sure your brake controller is orientated properly with the direction of travel. Check out the picture I attached for more info.
