The best way to see if you have enough clearance for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4-Bike Platform Rack, part # HR1400Z, is to take a simple measurement. This carrier is designed for 2 inch receiver openings.

You will need a tape measure and a straight edge like a yardstick or a dowel. Place the straight edge vertically against the back of the bumper or spare tire if one is present, letting it extend below the trailer hitch receiver opening. Then measure from the center of the hitch pin to the straight edge. This will give you the distance you need to clear the back of the vehicle. The HR1400 measures 7 inches from the raised edge on the shank to the closest part of the rack and measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest wheel hoop. This bike rack has adjustable wheel hoops that can handle tires up to 3 inches wide and a maximum wheelbase of 60 inches. The weight capacity for the carrier is 180 lbs, or 45 lbs per bike.
