Can Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" White Wheel # AM32664 be Used with Wheel Bolts
Question:
Inquiring about product #AM32664. Do the 6 mounting holes have tapered holes to use with wheel lug nuts or are they to be used with wheel bolts? I have a trailer with wheel studs on the hubs rather than bolts. My trailer is a 16 ft flatbed, was a travel trailer built in 1946, now a flatbead. Still has the moble Home tires on it. Need to replace the 7 X 14.5inch wheels/tires with a better setup. Thanks for info. PS- website is really a amaising informative site.

The Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" White Wheel # AM32664 that you referenced can be used on trailer hubs that are hub-centric (like what you have with the wheel bolts), or lug-centric (that use lug-nuts).
Since your setup is hub-centric the key thing for you will be to match up the bolt pattern of the wheel with the bolt pattern of your hubs (see help article on how to do this), and that pilot diameter of this wheel has to match what your current wheel has. The pilot diameter is the hole in the center of the wheel that goes around the hub. The pilot diameter of the wheel is 4.27 inches. You'll want to use a digital or dial caliper to measure yours to verify that they would are the same.
