Where Does a Brake Controller Wiring Harness Plug-In on a 2015 Ford Explorer w/Factory Tow Package

Question:

I have a 2015 ford explorer with a factory installed toe package. Where does the brake controller plug into the 2015 explorer???? I have a 3035 harness and a prodigy P2 controller. The dealer is even confused as to where the 3035 harness plugs into the vehicle. Thank you in advance!

According to the installation instructions for brake controller wiring harness # 3035-P the plug-in location on your 2015 Ford Explorer will be located behind the glove compartment on the passenger's side. Or it could be located underneath and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.

We haven't installed it on a 2015 Explorer but I have linked a video that shows where the plug is on a 2004 that should help. Go to about the 4 minute mark and watch the video from that point forward to see the location of the connector.
