I contacted DeeZee and Westin to see if there is a weight rating limit on the tube steps. At DeeZee, all of their tube steps/running boards are tested up to 350 pounds and Westin didn't have a weight rating. The person I spoke with at Westin has tube steps and is 250 pounds and they accommodate him just fine.

My co-worker has Westin tube steps on his SUV and he is between 250-270 and hasn't had any issues with the tube steps bending.

I really like the DeeZee running boards # DZ16202-16260 because of the 5-inch width boards and slip resistant grommets. The durability of the stainless steel top plate is a great feature too.

I included a link showing you all the 3, 4-1/2, and 5 inch step boards we currently offer.
