Do I need to Remove the Tow Hooks on my 1999 Ford Ranger to Install Roadmaster Base Plate Kit 483-1

Do I remove the factory tow hooks and does this kit bolt into those holes?

Removal of the tow hooks is not mentioned in the instructions, so it should not be necessary. This base plate kit does use many factory holes, but you will have to drill some 1/2 inch holes to complete the install. I have added a link to the instructions below for you to review.
