Measuring Bolt Pattern On Drum Assembly
Question:
what if your bolt centers measure are 2and3/4inch I am a retired Die Maker I know how to measure centers just so you will not think I did it wrong.

I went to our warehouse and pulled a couple of the Dexter Hub And Drum Assemblies, part # 84556UC3. I took measurements between the bolts on the drums and took a photo you can check out.
The measurement I got was 2.997 as the photo shows on the digital caliper. The measurements varied approximately .001 inches which can be due to where I placed the caliper.
If you would like to send me a photo of the drum you have showing the measurement I can possibly help further. I have attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to measure for a bolt pattern. I am not saying your measurement is incorrect. I just want to make sure you have all the information available.
