Will the Thule OutWay Trunk Rack part # TH45JV fit a 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

I purchased this bike rack a few years ago for my 2010 Honda Insight and the bike rack has been great. I just purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon basic model and it looks as if from your website that this bike rack should work on the Subaru as well. However, it is impossible to attach the Top Hook to the trunk of the car not allowing me to use the bike rack. Do you have any suggestions? The Top Hook is too thick for the opening on the Subaru trunk top - unless I am not placing it where its supposed to sit. Please advise ~

I checked with Thule and the Thule OutWay Trunk Rack part # TH45JV that you referenced has been confirmed to fit your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon, and the top clips go in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk, hatch or door. You might try opening the hatch to give you more space to let the clips make it into that gap.
