Trailer Hitch for a 5th Wheel Trailer with 71 Inch Frame Width

Question:

Im looking for a similar hitch for my new to me, 03 Jayco eagle fifthwheel. Measi ring the frame I am getting about 66inch inside width and 71inch outside. It is rectangular boxed frame. I was wondering if there were brackets or another hitch that would work for me ?

For your 5th wheel trailer we have a couple of hitch options that will work with your frame design and width.

First, the most popular option is # 13703. it will fit your box frame and can be bolted or welded on (welding should be done by a qualified professional). It will fit frame widths up to 72 inches wide (measured on the outsides). I have linked a video showing an example installation.

The second option is trailer hitch # UF35-946403. It fits frame widths up to 77 inches. It bolts to the bottom of the frame rails. I have linked the instructions for this hitch for you.
