It sounds like you have a fullsize 1979 Ford truck and are looking for an air suspension enhancement system for it.
The Firestone Ride Rite Kit part # F2071 has been confirmed to fit the 1979 Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, and F-350 whether it's a 4 wheel drive or a 2 wheel drive so it would work great for you. I attached an install video for you to check out.
For a compressor kit to make maintaining air pressure in the bags easy I would recommend the # F2158.
