Availability of Safety Chain U-Bolt Kits for a Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a hidden gooseneck hitch on a newly acquired 04 Dodge Ram 3500. I do not know the brand of the hitch. I measured and I need a safety chain u bolt that measures 5 inches long. Do you have a kit that would work for me?

We have several replacement U-bolt kits available for gooseneck hitches (see link), but what you are going to need to do is first determine what gooseneck hitch you have in your vehicle. If you look under the rear of the truck you will see the hitch mounted between the frame rails. You will want to try and get a brand name or part number so that it can be identified.
Or, what you can do is get a good look at it and then compare it to the pictures of the gooseneck hitches we offer for your vehicle. You should be able to tell what hitch you have by checking out the link I attached that has all of the gooseneck hitches we carry and then compare that to what you have installed on your vehicle.
Once you figure out what hitch you have you can check out the link I mentioned before that has all of the U-bolt kits we carry.
